A very warm welcome one and all to the Tralee Boxing Club's new website.
At Tralee Boxing Club we are very lucky to have a small but very dedicated committee. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of them for all their hard work.
Tralee has a very rich boxing tradition for many years. The Club was first formed back in the 1930's. We have had some good successes over the years. This is mainly at Munster level. We have also had many National champions. The last of these was Kevin Comiskey. Kevin won five National titles in all and boxed for Ireland.
On many occasions in the late 1990's we also had five Provincial champions at the time. Hopefully it won't be too long before we have success like that.
The Club train five nights a week at our headquarters at Ballymullen Army Barracks and a big thank you to the Army.
Tralee Boxing Club celebrated their 80th birthday on Saturday night September 24th 2016 in Benner's Hotel Tralee. Founded in 1936 Tralee Boxing Club celebrated the occassion with many past members and friends of the club. A great night was had by all.
